Maker's Mark®
Packaging Design, Product Series
The objective of this project was to explore how packaging design can expand across shapes and sizes while maintaining consistency in brand identity. I selected Maker’s Mark® Bourbon as my brand. Maker's Mark® has several distinguishing features that I highlighted in my design choices: the hand-dipped wax seal, the shape of the bottle, the sustainability initiative, and their beautiful distillery.
The Plan
I created an exclusive product line to be add-ons to a Maker's Mark® Experience Package. I chose to design my own 'Maker's Mark' to distinguish my line from other brand products.
The Maker's Mark® Experience welcomes visitors to a weekend-long sojourn at the Maker's Mark® distillery at Star Hill Farms, with charming guest quarters, as well as access to exclusive experiences and products not available to the public.

Point of Purchase
Recycling the Barrell
I chose to host the products in a POP that is built into a Maker’s Mark® bourbon barrel (used). The POP lives at the check-in area for the MMI experience expansion to entice weekend guests to purchase these exclusively available products.
The POP would live against a wall or in a corner. This is so that it feels cozy, and isn't disruptive to the experience for patrons.
