When I create paper art, it involves taking a basic every-day material and cutting pieces away until it creates something...more. The beauty springs, not from what is being lost, but what is left behind. In this photoshoot, I used a concentrated light source and hand-cut paper lace to explore the light, the dark, and what is revealed in between.
