The Makery || Art & Tech || 7th-12th Grade

In this class, students explored a range of art mediums and technologies with a strong emphasis on creative autonomy. Each session began with lessons in different forms of art and design, equipping students with new skills and approaches. Using tools such as Inkscape for vector design/laser design, TinkerCAD for 3D modeling, and the laser cutter for fabrication, students determined how best to approach open-ended prompts. The course emphasized layered design thinking in both 2D and 3D, encouraging students to combine digital tools with artistic expression to bring their ideas to life.
