Every wedding anniversary has a traditional theme for gifts, and the theme for the first is paper. I took on this commission from a man looking for an artist to recreate the lace of his wife’s wedding dress with paper. This was drawn freehand (minus the checkerboard which was measured) and hand-cut from a single sheet of paper.
